수학적 계산에 의하면 우리가 평행 우주를 여행할 경우, 우리 우주와 비슷한 또다른 우주도 발견할 수 있다는 것이다. 또 다른 우주에 있는 지구에는 우리와 비슷한 사람들이 살 수도 있고, 사물에서 사람까지 모두 똑같은 우주도 있을 수 있다.

이처럼 이런일이 가능할 수 있는 이유는 자연의 법칙에 따라 물질의 기본 요소 혹은 입자는 어떤 공간에서도 입자가 배열될 수 있는 경우의 수가 일정하게 정해져 있기 때문이다. 따라서 공간의 제약이 없고 우주가 무수히 많다고 해도 입자들의 배열은 반복될 수 밖에 없다.

이러한 이론은 관측이나 실험을 통한 입증 자료가 없기 때문에 논쟁은 계속될 것이나 평행우주론도 앞으로 100년 안에 진위가 밝혀질 수 있을 것이다. 또한 지난 수백년 동안 우리가 보거나 관찰하거나 실험할 수 밖에 없는 자연 대상에 대해서도 수학을 이용해 확실한 원리를 깨달을 수 있었던 처럼, 이미 수학은 다른 우주가 있을 지도 모른다고 추정하고 있다.

무엇보다 확실한 것은, 우리가 평행우주에 살고 있다는 가설이 사실로 입증된다면 우주에 대한 우리의 이해가 획기적인 변화를 맞이하는 가장 놀라운 사건이 될 것이라는 것이다. 평행우주론에 따르면 지구가 속한 우주계와 같은 무수히 많고, 그 우주체를 둘러싼 또 다른 세계도 존재한다는 것이다.

지구와 같은 모양의 또다른 지구가 존재할 수 있으며, 이론상으로 그 곳에는 지구가 있고, 한국도 있고, 당신과 거의 닮은 생명종이 사는 지구와 매우 유사한 세계가 존재한다는 것이다. 어쩌면 지금, 그 곳에서 이글을 읽으며 당신과 똑같은 생각을 하고 있을지도 모른다.

Mathematical calculations suggest that If we travelled the multiverse, we could encounter parallel universe, where people just like us could live or literally everthing, from humans to objects, could be exactaly the same as our universe.

The reason why the aforementioned could be possible is that the number of cases in which the fundamental elements or particles of matter are arranged is not limitless according to the laws of nature. Therefore, although it is true that there is no spatial limit and there are myriads of universes, the sequences of particles cannot help repeating themselves.

Since there is no observational or experimental evidence backing such a theory, debate will continue on. But who knows, the multiunverse theory could be proven in the next 100 years. In addition, just like math helped us grasp the principles of natural phenomena that we hadn`t been able to observe or experiment on for several hundred years,math has already presumed that there could be other universes. The only sure thing is that once the hyphothesis that we are living in the multiunivere has been proven, this could revolutionize our understanding of the universe.
